Cute Birthday Story

This pic has a cute little story behind it. As sick as our little girl has been she had a very happy day. So we are all thankful for that. Anyway...she smiled happily through all of her gifts. Opening each one while she sat in her princess chair.

When I was shopping for her gifts I picked up a pack of orange tic tacs (her fav.) and dropped them in her gift bag.

Well when she reached in and pulled them out you should have heard her squeals of utter delight! She yelled "TIC TACS!!!!!" and began to jump up and down in her excitement!! It was so FUNNY! All of the wonderful gifts around her yet those orange tic tacs were the highlight of her day. Ha Ha

We told Caleb he should send it in to funniest home videos. :)

She is absolute JOY.

This covered bridge is near a town where Paul first pastored. I have always loved this spot and was so happy to be able to stand here again soaking in the history of the area. Bethany was a tiny baby when they lived here. I would sit on the porch swing hloding her in my arms.

Ghost Town in South Dakota

St Louis

On our way home we spent the night in St Louis, Mo. We stayed in an awesome historical hotel (thanks to Price Line) Gods Blessings. Kirby and Noelle went up into the famous Arch!!! Not me! I have elevator nightmares. Then we ate sausage dogs bought from a street vendor. Mine was too spicy thus the look on my face. :)

Noelle said going up into the arch was one of the funnest things she has ever done.
