Daniel and Paul to the rescue!

Hey meet Patcha the Quaker Parrot. She belongs to Mckennas family. Well Patcha got loose outside and was flying from tree to tree in our neighborhood. I got home from the store around 2:30 pm and saw Macs mom Katherine and her brother Trevor looking up into a tree across the street from our house. Patcha had been on the fly since 9:30 that morning!!! They tried every way they could to get her down. They even called the fire department and animal control who both refused to help! PSH! So I called for Daniel and Paul to come out and help. They threw a lot of tennis balls up at her and she just stared at them...didnt even flinch. So they got one of Kirbys really tall ladders and Dan climbed the tree which completely and totally was giving me heart palpitations! I had horrible visions of him falling and me having to call his Mother!!! O My Word! So anyway Daniel threw one more tennis ball and away she flew to a lower tree. So the boys moved the ladder and Katherine who is very afraid of heights climbed up to call her down. We figured that she would come down for her. The boys gallantly held the ladder. Patcha came right to Katherine! She was thankful and happy to get her bird back into her cage...safe and sound. None of us could bare the thought of Mckenna loosing one of her favorite birds. We are all thankful. Oh and thats Dan WAYYYYYY up in that tree!

Fun at the Park!

We have all decided to take up Tennis! So well yeah...we get a lot of laughs and a lot of fun!!! And hopefully a lot of exercise! Go Us! :)

For You Tam

Hey Tammy!

Got your note so thought I would post. Fall is in the air!!! Yippee! I have washed my sweaters and even had to turn on the heat for the first time in months.

I just arrived at my parents home. I am staying with them for 2 1/2 weeks while my sis is on vacation. I always enjoy a quiet time with them. They are doing well. Noelle is here with me. So our mornings will be school. She is doing great. Growing fast and turning into a little tween. Wish time would slow down. Paul and Grace will get to Havre while I am gone. I am looking forward to seeing them when I get home. It was hard to leave the grand babies. They are growing fast. They are beautiful and amazing! Ema wanted to go with me on the train. :)

Well I will try and put a few pics on. I need to get breakfast ready and give Dad all that he needs this morning.

Love, Nancy
