Here are some shots of the work we are doing in our house. Kirby scraped off the popcorn ceilings. Then I helped him texture the walls and we did a LOT of painting! Ta Da

Very NICE! I like it. You guys did a great job. It is amazing what a little paint and hard work does. :)
I LOVE the walls! How pretty! Did you just use joint compound and a putty knife to texture them? Then how did you do the paint? Double rollers? Or two separate paint applications? It's very, very nice.
Yes we used 10 inch putty knives and joint compound..he adds a little water and mixes it up. We buy it in 5 gal. First we painted the whole room vanilla scone. After it was dry we took one cup of Mocha colored paint and added three cups of water. I would wash on the Mocha paint (about 4x4 space at a time)with a rag and then Kirby would go behind me and wipe it off with another rag. We only waited maybe a minute between me washing on and him washing off. One cup of paint washed the whole room!!! I Love it too. Thank you. :)
CUTE I love it!!!
Your living room looks great!!
Judging from what I've seen of your decorating style, I think you'd enjoy coming to see my house sometime. Next time you're in Cleveland you'll have to save a few minutes to come over for some coffee, fellowship and a tour of the house. I REALLY like your wall application and might have to give it a try in our "western/cowboy" room. We could swap decorating ideas. :-)
Clicked on stay home moms and you are one of the lucky ones I decided to look at. Glad I did. Nice to see your home project.
That would be nice Sis. Smith...thank you. :)
