More Thanksgiving

Hey all. We had THE BEST Thanksgiving yet to date. I loved every second. I never dreamed that I would have the blessing of all my children living in the came town as me. So I am enjoying every moment that they are here. We had a huge traditional dinner. Everyone helped. Mandie brought the Turkey, rolls and GERMAN POTATO SALAD (I love it). Grace helped bake all of the pies and they were DELICIOUS!!! Kirby, Paul, Daniel and Noelle helped with trimming pies and Daniel made Mandie green jello just like her home. :) We enjoyed a feast and then went for a walk in the snow to make room for desert. Emilie fell asleep in Caleb's coat. When we got home Kirby and I took down all of our Fall Deco outside and began deco for Christmas. Its looking pretty. Then we all came in and had (pumpkin, apple, chocolate) pie, Mt Dew cake, fruit salad and caramel apple crisp! Played a game of Monopoly that we quit early because everyone was cheating except Mandie and Noelle!!! ha ha So we were about to name them as the winners when Noelle pipes up and says "I was cheating too"...and shows us about 5 $5oo's in her hand!!!!! My baby CHEATING! It's that Horton/Alexander combo! HA So Mandie is the official winner...although Daniel says NO WAY cause HE didn't admit to cheating. Even little Gracie was cheating! I was shocked! I was sitting right next to her and had No idea that her and Daniel were passing money under the table! HA HA! Well then we all started eating leftovers and watched Prince Caspian (sp?) my vote was for "Jingle All The Way". So all in all it was a wonderful day and night. I truly thank God for his many blessings. Today is a beautiful Sunny day. I am beginning a journey of helping a friend today. She is 8 months pregnant with twins and has two girls and a boy 5, 3 & 1 yr. She needs help a couple days a week with the kids so that she can get some rest. So remember her in your prayers and me with lots of little ones running around! ha ha
They are a sweet family that we love very much and I want to be a blessing to them, Right away Grace and Mandie both offered to help me with the kids. I am very blessed to have such thoughtful daughter in laws. They really are daughters in our hearts. Well this is probably the longest post EVER!!! Have a beautiful day everyone! Please keep our Christmas Fund Raisers in your prayers.
Love You All!
P.S.
To my friend Karen O. , your very welcome! I love sharing the photos of the kids and grands with you! :)
Oh! The foot prints are mine in the SNOW! Kirby & Daniel dared me to walk barefoot in Wal Mart parking lot! :) And There is a picture of the little senior shop! They make the best soup! It's $1.25 for soup and a big dinner roll!!! So it's our new favorite spot and it's nice to support our local senior citizens! :)

Sounds like great fun! I'm so glad your Thanksgiving was such a wonderful one. Isn't it nice to be able to celebrate whatever day works for you? There's no special magic about the certain day, it's just having your family together!
Love you! Great pictures!!

I was just looking at the pics again...I REALLY like your dining room table. One day, when I have a much larger place to live...I would like a similar one so that I can squeeze all of my family around it.
