More Thanksgiving

Hey all. We had THE BEST Thanksgiving yet to date. I loved every second. I never dreamed that I would have the blessing of all my children living in the came town as me. So I am enjoying every moment that they are here. We had a huge traditional dinner. Everyone helped. Mandie brought the Turkey, rolls and GERMAN POTATO SALAD (I love it). Grace helped bake all of the pies and they were DELICIOUS!!! Kirby, Paul, Daniel and Noelle helped with trimming pies and Daniel made Mandie green jello just like her home. :) We enjoyed a feast and then went for a walk in the snow to make room for desert. Emilie fell asleep in Caleb's coat. When we got home Kirby and I took down all of our Fall Deco outside and began deco for Christmas. Its looking pretty. Then we all came in and had (pumpkin, apple, chocolate) pie, Mt Dew cake, fruit salad and caramel apple crisp! Played a game of Monopoly that we quit early because everyone was cheating except Mandie and Noelle!!! ha ha So we were about to name them as the winners when Noelle pipes up and says "I was cheating too"...and shows us about 5 $5oo's in her hand!!!!! My baby CHEATING! It's that Horton/Alexander combo! HA So Mandie is the official winner...although Daniel says NO WAY cause HE didn't admit to cheating. Even little Gracie was cheating! I was shocked! I was sitting right next to her and had No idea that her and Daniel were passing money under the table! HA HA! Well then we all started eating leftovers and watched Prince Caspian (sp?) my vote was for "Jingle All The Way". So all in all it was a wonderful day and night. I truly thank God for his many blessings. Today is a beautiful Sunny day. I am beginning a journey of helping a friend today. She is 8 months pregnant with twins and has two girls and a boy 5, 3 & 1 yr. She needs help a couple days a week with the kids so that she can get some rest. So remember her in your prayers and me with lots of little ones running around! ha ha
They are a sweet family that we love very much and I want to be a blessing to them, Right away Grace and Mandie both offered to help me with the kids. I am very blessed to have such thoughtful daughter in laws. They really are daughters in our hearts. Well this is probably the longest post EVER!!! Have a beautiful day everyone! Please keep our Christmas Fund Raisers in your prayers.
Love You All!
P.S.
To my friend Karen O. , your very welcome! I love sharing the photos of the kids and grands with you! :)
Oh! The foot prints are mine in the SNOW! Kirby & Daniel dared me to walk barefoot in Wal Mart parking lot! :) And There is a picture of the little senior shop! They make the best soup! It's $1.25 for soup and a big dinner roll!!! So it's our new favorite spot and it's nice to support our local senior citizens! :)

~Gracies Pie~

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We wanted all of our children home for our dinner so Thanksgiving is this week at our house. It has been snowing so we are playing Christmas music and baking away!!! Grace is helping to make all of the pumpkin (8 total!!!) and the others are decorating the crust with leaves. Daniel got REAL artistic with one. They all look beautiful and will taste so yummy! We are also baking two apple , two chocolate a Mountain Dew cake and so much more. Now just keeping everyone out of it all until tomorrow will be the real chore! LOL :)
We discovered the quaintest little coffee shop ran by seniors. It is soooooo good and CHEAP! We had home made soups and dinner rolls , cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate and coffee!!!! It was so wonderful. The little ladies were so sweet too. It is only two blocks from our house so we told them we will all be back often!!! More pictures to come soon.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas... Although our Thanksgiving dinner is still coming up soon. I cant wait!!! I am excited to begin all of the baking with Noelle. She is going on Eleven!!! And it is going to be extra fun this year. Our church is doing a fund raiser...Pastor John has been playing Santa at the Mall and we are also doing the gift wrap booth. Well Pastor Johnny got sick so Kirby took his place. Needless to say we all had a blast with it. Emilie is so funny and we are having some good laughs listening to all of her adorable Christmas comments this year. Thomas is so adorable and kissable and huggable! Noelle is doing great...still sweet and pretty. I'll try to blog more later...going to do yoga with Grace and Noelle.

Whats happening in our corner...

I know...I know...I am THE worst blogger ever! Aha! I think that Gracie and Tammy K. are two of the most faithful that I know. Kudos girls!
Well...we had a photo fund raiser that went so awesome!!!! We sold 84 sittings and made around $1,500!!! Woo Hoo!!!! Mandie worked very hard on this project and everyone was helpful. God has really blessed us.
The next fundraiser is beginning the day after Thanksgiving. Bro. Johnny is going to be the mall Santa. Daniel maybe with Caleb's help will be the photographer and while they are doing that I will be heading up a gift wrap stand. Wow "go us" right? Pretty busy season for all of us. Libby and I have also began working with our kids on our Christmas program. We are also doing a children's Christmas choir. It is soooo much fun! I am finding great deals on our wardrobe etc. Paul is collecting large cardboard from Sears. Him and Daniel will be putting together a 3D background for our Nativity. We have such a great group of people with so many varied talents...more of Gods goodness.
School is going great for Noelle. I LOVE having her with me. I thank the Lord that I am able to stay home with her. She is growing into a beautiful and sweet young lady.
I loved watching her get her photo done and then her and her best friend McKenna did some together that are going to be so adorable. Thomas was soooo very cute in his little hat and him and Ema did great! We got one big family one with us and all of our kids! So thankful that Paul and Grace were here for it.
Daniel has been living here a while now and I have to say he is so much fun to have around. These boys keep us laughing non-stop. Plus they are teaching Emily how to be funny. :)
Well more for another time.
