Good Grief

I am so confused!!!! I don't know which blog is mine anymore! I have like three and oh my word it's confusing! Sigh. Ha Ha

Hey from Havre

The days have been sunny and warming up. Spring is in the air. We have played tennis and picked up a little more skill along with really sore legs! Ahhh the joy of exercise. Then we played with Jason and Caleb's gas remote control cars! FUN! The babies and our dogs ran circles around us. I called Caleb the other day and Emilie asked to talk. I asked her how she was, she sighed and said "ohhh, I just wish I could get out of my house Gram." ha ha
So of course Gram and Papa picked her up...took her for a hamburger and a trip to Wal Mart. :)
We got Tom a car seat yesterday so that we can take him around now too. They had their Friday night sleepover last night so if it is sunny again today we will go to the park. If not we will go to the library. Noelle is doing great. She has finished to school books for the year and already working in two from next year. Still about four more subjects to finish and we will have a Summer break. I am proud of her. She has had a lot of interruptions this year and yet she is still ahead. She is a wonderful girl. Still as sweet as ever. I thank God for her and all of my children. Please keep Caleb in your prayers. He is still laid off. Mandie has a job and he gets some pay from work so they just get by. I know that he is anxious to be back to work. Paul is doing great in school and enjoying it. Grace is looking for a new job pray for her. Grace, Paul and Noelle went for a bike ride yesterday! Kirby is still riding around on the train. God is good and the economy has not hurt him so far. Please keep my Mother in our prayers. The loss of m Dad is very hard for her.

I Am Thankful

I am so thankful for my husband and children. It has been so hard loosing my Father. So they have all been so good to me. One night Mandie cooked me dinner and EVEN baked me a cake!!! Ahhh comfort food. It really felt good eating a meal that I knew was prepared with love and care. Paul and Grace treated me to pizza hut buffet on my first Sunday back to church and they all made me laugh. Noelle gives the best hugs for an eleven year old girl. She is sweet and sensitive to how I am feeling. They watch t.v. with me and talk to me. Thomas and Emilie make me smile and give the best kisses. It all helps. Kirby is always quick to be by my side when I am crying. I think I am alone and then I feel his arms around me. I am so blessed. God is good.

Thank you for all of the prayers that have gone out for my family. I appreciate each and every one. My Father was a wonderful man who never wavered from the truth of the word. He will be greatly missed.

Snow Snow Go Away.....

Snow snow go away...come again some other year! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE four definite seasons. But there comes a time in Winter when I am done. I am longing for a tropical Paradise where I can lay in a hammock listening to the waves. Feel the warmth of the sun, hear the giggles of my daughter a she plays in the sand or chases a crab. ~ Happy Sigh~ Oh Yeah.
Our 27 Anniversary is coming up in April and I would LOVE to surprise Kirby with a trip to Hawaii! He was born there and has always wanted to go back and visit. I know we will someday.

Ok...so Tom was soooo wiggly that he is a blur in some....annnnd I couldn't find my camera so I had to make do with my cell...NOT good. sigh. But we all had a great time and Tommy was so happy and adorable. Caleb decorated the cake! Papa Kirby made his awesome special recipe roast chicken. Happy Birthday Buddy! We LOVE you!

Prayer request. Caleb and Mandie are driving to Springs to visit her family while he is layed off work. Please pray for a safe trip and that Caleb can get back to work soon. Right now I am hearing about hard times all over the states...friends and family. I am thankul that we all have each other to hold up in prayer.

Happy New Year!

Hi Fellow Bloggers,
Guess I could try writing for a change. I would much rather entertain with photo's but I forgot to carry my camera around recently. :)
Today we are getting LOTS of SNOW!!! I love it! It's so beautiful falling from the sky. But....Kirby is on the train and Daniel flies back to Mt today and has a couple hour trip to get home. The roads are treacherous so please keep them both in your prayers. Another request is that Caleb keep working through the Winter. The rail slows down and guys get laid off. Last Winter our prayers were answered and God kept him working. Thank you so much for remembering these needs with us.
We had a party at the Furlongs on New Years Eve. They are in their new home now. It is so nice and very spacious! They have it all decorated and are settled in. It was very warm and cozy. I am happy that they are able to live in town now. Noelle is looking fwd to spending time with Hannah. We are all within walking distance once Paul and Grace move. They will be moving into an awesome historical building this month! It is such a cool place. I know that Grace and Paul are both happy about the move. Grace is learning to travel on these snowy roads. I got a below zero sleeping bag out today to put in her car. She has me telling her often that if anything happens stay in the car and call so we can go get her. Some of our weather you just don't walk in. I'm glad it's a small town and we can all get to each other quickly if there is a need.
Noelle is enjoying her Christmas break from school. She is out romping with her pup Scout right now. I should snap a few pictures. Be right back...! :) Done.
I am looking fwd to getting back to school. It makes life feel more organized somehow. I enjoy seeing her learn. She is a joy in every way. I couldn't ask for a sweeter daughter. God has sure blessed us.
The grand babies are doing great! Thomas is walking. It is so much fun watching him toddle around! You will have to check Mandies blog for the dryer story!!!!! :)
Emilie is as genius as ever...surprising all those who meet her by talking like a five year old instead of a two year old. And the things that little one comes up with to say!!! She is so entertaining! LOL They are both so beautiful. Emilie has a sleep over night every Sunday. We love having her and are looking fwd to when Tom can come too.
Noelle and I baked a lot of cookies for New Years. Lots of fun and yummy too.
The BEST news I heard last year is that Sam and Tam are going to have a baby!!! I am still reveling in the joy of that news. The hardest time of last year was loosing our Son James. I still have moments of longing for him and crying. I am thankful that he is finally well and in Heaven with God and family. I try and remember that when I am missing him. The hardest news this new year is that my very best friend from childhood lost her Father. He had a major stroke and never recovered. My heart breaks for her and her family. I spent sooooo many Sunday afternoons in there home when I was young. They are a wonderful family and he was one of the nicest men I know. Please keep the Moore family in your prayers.
I am sure that there will be some wonderful blessings coming our way this new year. I am looking fwd to seeing what will unfold. God Bless and keep you All!
